Vintage and Retro.
Our vintage class follows the successful Iconic classes, all loaded into one with less rules. You can put big-bore shocks in if you feel you really need to, but you will still look silly. Cars released up to 1999 will fit in this class. Any car eligible for the Iconic classes can run.
Our retro class covers cars released between 1999 and 2010, this gives racers a chance to run models ineligible for Iconic such as Losi XXX, RC10 B4, Durango 410.
The two classes will likely run together in the same heats, on the track together. We will split them out for results and trophies.
Vintage and Retro is for all ages, young and old, but is mainly for the old who have no chance of beating the kids otherwise. It’s likely that even if you are only half good you will get in the A-final and feel like the hero you once were.
If you a teenager in the 90’s rocking out to Nirvana, raving with The charlatans or listening to The Shamen (while knowing what Mr C was going on about) this is for you. Still got your yellow smiley face t shirt? Relive your youth by busting out some old toys entering the oOple Series.
The entry fee is reasonable, so you can keep adding to your pension-pot.
